At Telecom Tube Systems, you'll develop software for advanced pneumatic tube systems used in hospitals, distribution centres and industrial environments. Our systems combine mechanics, electronics and software to deliver reliable solutions for fast, safe and efficient internal logistics.To strengthen our team, we're looking for a motivated Software Engineer who will contribute to the development, control, configuration and monitoring of our systems.
Practical information
This is a full-time position within an innovative technical environment with international projects. You'll develop software that directly influences the performance of our transport systems while having plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas for improvements, innovation and system reliability.
What will you do?
As a Software Engineer, you'll work at the core of our technology. You'll develop software that controls systems, manages routing, integrates hardware components and provides insight into logistics processes.
Your responsibilities include:

Developing software for industrial transport systems.
•
Designing control logic for stations, diverters, blowers and storage systems.
•
Developing graphical user interfaces for system configuration and monitoring.
•
Integrating hardware components e.g. I/O modules, sensors, motors and actuators.
•
Analysing and resolving technical and software-related issues.
•
Developing simulation and testing functionality for system validation.
•
Contributing to configuration/user management, logging and alarm handling.
•
Helping develop product improvements and innovative technical solutions.
Who are you?
You're technically skilled, detail-oriented and solution-driven. You enjoy developing software that interacts directly with hardware and real-world logistics processes. You work in a structured way, think practically and communicate technical concepts clearly.
You also recognise yourself in the following profile:

A Bachelor's/Master's degree related to Computer Science or Software Engineering.
•
Strong knowledge of modern C++.
•
Experience with the Qt Framework.
•
Experience with PostgreSQL or other database systems.
•
Experience with Linux and/or Windows software development.
•
Experience with version control systems, preferably SVN.
•
Good command of both Dutch and English.
•
Affinity with industrial systems and hardware integration.
•
Experience with embedded systems, electronics or hardware debugging is considered an advantage.
