For Telecom Bedrijfscommunicatie B.V., trading as Telecom Pneumatic Tube Systems (hereinafter referred to as “Telecom”), the protection of personal data is extremely important. We also believe it is important to inform you clearly and transparently about this. In this privacy statement, we explain how we handle your personal data.

Article 2 – Why do we process your personal data?

There are various purposes for which we may process your personal data. For example, we process your personal data in connection with offering products and services, sending newsletters, and handling, managing, and invoicing agreements.

Article 3 – On what legal grounds do we process your personal data?

Any organisation processing personal data may only do so if there is a legal basis. We process personal data based on the following legal grounds, among others:

  • With your consent;
  • For the performance of an agreement;
  • To comply with a legal obligation;
  • Legitimate interest.

Article 4 – How long do we retain your personal data?

We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which your data is processed. Once we no longer need your personal data for that purpose, we will delete it. However, in some cases we are legally required to retain your data for a longer period, for example to comply with legal obligations.

Article 5 – With whom may we share your personal data?

Telecom does not sell, rent, or lease customer lists to third parties. However, Telecom may provide your data to third parties if required to do so by law.

In some cases, the personal data you provide may also be processed by third parties. They only have access to the personal data necessary to perform their work. Where required, Telecom will enter into a data processing agreement with these third parties.

Article 6 – How do we protect your personal data?

We take both technical and organisational measures to secure the personal data we process. We do this by selecting an appropriate level of security based on the risks involved. In doing so, we consider the latest technologies, the costs of the measures, and the nature of the data we process. We also take into account the possible risks to the rights and freedoms of employees, which may vary in severity and likelihood.

Article 7 – What privacy rights do you have?

Under Article 13 paragraph 2 sub b of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), everyone has the right to access, rectify, or erase their personal data, or to restrict processing concerning them. You also have the right to object to processing and the right to data portability.

Would you like to exercise any of these rights? Please send us a message stating which right(s) you wish to exercise. Our contact details can be found at the bottom of this privacy statement.

This depends on various circumstances, but we will always inform you accordingly. For more information about your rights, please visit the website of the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Normally, we will process your request within one month. In some cases, this may take longer. If so, we will inform you and explain why additional time is required.
